The D3 BioHub puts bioinnovation at the center stage, driving advancements in synthetic biology, genomics, biopharma, and biological engineering. Located at Concordia University, the BioHub provides bio startups with the equipment, space, and resources they need to prototype, experiment, and develop their inventions.
Our mission is to ensure that Quebec and Canada are global leaders in the bioeconomy revolution by equipping startups with the tools and infrastructure needed to succeed.

The BioHub is open to federally or provincially incorporated bio startups active in District 3’s Launch & Grow program.
To access the BioHub, startups in the Launch & Grow program must:
1. Reach out to their D3 coach to discuss lab needs.
2. Submit a project description for review by the D3 committee.
3. Complete Concordia's Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) assessment.
Note: Mandatory safety training and approval are part of the application process.
