​Sick of the pressure to “win” and ship something in a single weekend?

​We’ve seen the traditional hackathon model: fast-paced, high-pressure, often dominated by younger crowds and male participants. You're expected to pull all-nighters, race to finish, and walk away with a prize or nothing.

​But what if there was a space to build for fun? One that’s inclusive, relaxed, and focused on long-term innovation rather than a 48-hour sprint?

​That’s why we’re launching AI Build Day in Montreal, hosted by Elantech.

​It’s a sandbox for builders and creatives. A low-pressure space to tinker with ideas, work on MVPs, and connect with like-minded people, without sacrificing sleep or authenticity.

​Who we're looking for 🌟

​We welcome solo devs, startup teams, and side project explorers alike. No coding experience? No problem. Whether you're into product, design, research, or just "vibe coding," there's a place for you here.

​Everyone is welcome, but this space is intentionally designed to uplift women, non-binary folks, immigrants, those in the 30+ age range, and anyone who’s ever felt the need to shrink themselves to belong in tech.

​10:00–10:30 AM — Welcome & Brief introduction in a roundtable to get to know all participants and find teammates (if you want)

​​10:30 AM–12:30 PM — Team Work Session
Focused work time develop ideas and projects.

​​12:30–1:30 PM — Lunch and take a break.

​​1:30–3:00 PM — Team Work Session
Continue working on your projects.

​​3:00–4:00 PM — Pitch Presentations & Closing
Informal final pitches and real time feedback followed by event wrap-up.

​​You’ll leave with something real, maybe even something you’ll keep doing. A project. A connection. A version of yourself you're proud of.
