GigLinked, founded by James Dere, is building a smarter way to match artists and clients. After more than two years booking live events manually, James and his team recognized a common challenge: clients often know the atmosphere they want but struggle to describe it in ways that artists can act on.

GigLinked is solving this with an AI‑powered web app designed to interpret a client’s needs using historical booking data and relevant industry insights. The result is a clearer, more accurate way to define “vibe” and communicate expectations to artists, improving the entire experience for both sides.

James joined MentorConnect after establishing early traction and revenue. With mentors experienced in scaling companies internationally, GigLinked has strengthened its product, operational workflows and go‑to‑market strategy. The team is preparing to launch their platform and onboard both existing clients and new users.

As a founder, James brings together his background as a guitarist, his corporate experience in wealth management and his deep empathy for the artistic community.
