Co‑founded by Nowaisir Khan, the company emerged from a clear insight: most buildings rely on intuition, manual processes and outdated systems, despite having access to data that could guide better decisions.

Thermolio connects to a building’s existing systems and provides traceable, easy‑to‑approve recommendations. Unlike tools that automatically adjust settings without explanation, Thermolio gives managers full visibility, clear rationale and a complete history of changes.

“Talking to more than 180 property managers helped us realize how important visibility and trust are. People want to understand why changes are being made,” Nowaisir explains.

Through D3’s Systems Mapping and Validation programs, the team learned that maintenance costs often exceed energy costs by twofold. This insight shaped Thermolio’s focus on transparent and preventative maintenance. Now in Launch & Grow, Thermolio is scaling deployments with 18 active sites and plans to expand rapidly.
