Solyntek: AI‑Powered Safety for High‑Risk Industrial Environments

Solyntek is building AI technology that helps industrial and warehouse teams prevent workplace incidents before they happen, by detecting and analyzing safety risks directly from existing on‑site cameras.

Founded and led by Iskander El Amri, Solyntek emerged from a clear and pressing challenge: in many high‑risk industries, safety management remains largely reactive. Incidents are reviewed after the fact, near‑misses go undocumented, and audits often rely on manual processes  despite the presence of continuous video data at worksites.

Solyntek transforms this overlooked footage into a proactive safety layer. By connecting to existing CCTV and security cameras, the platform detects risks such as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) non‑compliance, unsafe behaviors, restricted‑area entry, slips and falls, and early signs of fire or smoke. Instead of automatic interventions, Solyntek provides contextual alerts, traceability, and clear documentation, giving safety teams the insights they need to act with confidence.

“Most companies already have the data, they just don’t have the tools to use it for prevention,” Iskander explains. “Our goal is to make safety visible, actionable, and trusted.”

Through D3’s Launch & Grow program, the Solyntek team sharpened its value proposition and scaled its approach while operating as a globally distributed team. Along the way, the company achieved several key milestones, including 2nd place at District 3’s Sustainability Accelerator Pitch Night, where its responsible, privacy‑first use of AI for workplace safety stood out among impact‑driven startups.

The team also continued to refine and expand its platform, pitching at major industry and technology events and gaining recognition for its contribution to digital transformation in industrial safety.

For Iskander, navigating uncertainty is central to the entrepreneurial journey:

“Building Solyntek means constantly learning from the field testing assumptions, listening closely, and adapting quickly without losing sight of impact.”

Today, Solyntek is helping industrial teams shift from reactive incident response to proactive risk prevention, contributing to safer workplaces, stronger ESG performance, and more resilient operations.
